Chengdu Restaurant is one of the only Chinese restaurants in Bogotá that has that truly authentic touch I crave.nnComing from California, our Chinese immigrant population is huge, and everyone has brought their recipes from their different regions to cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles. In my honest opinion, the traditional menu at Chengdu easily compares to the quality of Chinese food I find in San Francisco's Chinatown.nnIf you can't stand spicy food, I recommend checking out the Colombian-Chinese options on the menu—for a Mexican, the spice level of the traditional menu is perfect, and it even made me sweat a little! My favorite dish was the mappo tofu!

Diverse menu. Different options of typical food. This isn't a Colombian Chinese restaurant. A very good choice.

Chengdu Restaurant is a typical Chinese-style eatery with decent food. The main issue is the price — it's quite high compared to local standards. For the same cost, you could dine at a mid-to-high-end restaurant in the area, and the prices are almost on par with those in the US or Canada. Also, the restroom was out of order and hadn’t been fixed, which was disappointing.
